Volunteering
There are more ways to help this ministry other than through financial contributions. MAPS can always use people who are willing to donate their time.
Some volunteering needs include:
– Baking cookies for special events.
– Cooking lunch for the school or assisting at lunch time.
– Reading to a class.
– Listening to students read in small groups.
– Playground supervision.
– Teach a P.E. class.
– Leading a Chapel.
– Leading a Prayer Service.
– Teaching how to play a
musical instrument.
– Assisting a teacher.
– Clerical work.
– Taking out trash.
– Vacuuming rooms and hallways.
